Adobe Flash can be used in creative ways to set the mood for your website: video files, banners, buttons, background music or other audio . . .

If you company has a specific type font that is used in all of your marketing material, Flash text can be used to ensure that visitors to your website view the text exactly in the way you wish for it to appear.

— Animated GIF Files —

Many animations seen on a website are animated GIF files. Animated GIF's always loop, whereas Flash can be made to play the animation once and stop.
